Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jeskai Hero tribal aggro-midrange build led by Captain America, Team Leader. The core strategy revolves around curving out efficient Hero creatures that instantly receive +1/+1 counters, haste, and vigilance upon entering the battlefield. This immediate aggression turns on numerous modified creature payoffs, drawing substantial cards each turn through engines like SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, Biorganic Carapace, and Reconnaissance Mission. As the board widens, finishers like War Machine, Avenging Arsenal and Captain America, Wings of Freedom amplify team damage through double strike and massive power boosts, while Raise the Palisade clears opposing blockers for decisive lethal swings. A robust suite of protection spells—such as Spectacular Spider-Man, Captain America, Super-Soldier, and Ripples of Potential—shields the team against board wipes, ensuring steady, resilient pressure through Turn 7.
