Mono-Red Magda Sligh (EDH) by imafuckyouup

Format: Commander

Commander: Magda, the Hoardmaster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Treasure-sligh deck built around low-cost hasty/menace creatures and constant token production. Magda, the Hoardmaster is a secondary payoff: crimes add one Treasure per turn, and sacrificing three Treasures creates a 4/4 flying haste Dragon, giving the deck a repeatable evasive finisher. The deck does not depend on its commander; Magda, Brazen Outlaw in the 99 is a strong secondary engine rather than a hidden commander. The plan is to chip with early pirates and dwarves, convert Treasures into card advantage and Dragon tokens, then finish with Fireball, Shrapnel Blast, or Great Train Heist. Descent into Avernus and Xorn accelerate the Treasure count dramatically, while impulse draw helps recover from board wipes.
