Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Izzet artifact storm list commanded by Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The primary plan accelerates into Jhoira on turns two or three using format-staple fast mana like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and zero-mana Mox artifacts. Once Jhoira enters, every historic spell cantrips, turning a dense package of cheap artifacts into self-replenishing storm fuel. Cost reducers such as Etherium Sculptor and Cloud Key make one-mana artifacts free, while mass-bounce spells like Retract, Hurkyl's Recall, and Paradoxical Outcome reset these permanents to generate high storm count, mana velocity, and immense card advantage. The deck finishes on the same turn using Aetherflux Reservoir to deal 150 damage across all opponents, or by milling libraries with Brain Freeze. Free countermagic, Deflecting Swat, and Defense Grid protect the winning turn, while silver-bullet stax pieces hinder opposing race attempts.
