Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jund beatdown strategy commanded by Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder. Its game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana ramp in the early turns, establishing Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder on the battlefield, and landing colossal, high-base-power threats such as Yargle and Multani, Malignus, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Putrefax. When Mr. Orfeo attacks, his triggered ability doubles target creature's power, instantly converting moderate threats into lethal one-shot beaters. The list backs this aggressive clock with massive power-scaling multipliers like Xenagos, God of Revels, Unnatural Growth, and Berserk, while utilizing trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising and Rancor or direct burn spells like Chandra's Ignition, Fling, and Essence Harvest to bypass blockers and close out games. While the deck boasts immense offensive burst and strong recovery due to dense threat redundancy, it carries virtually no reactive instant-speed interaction or stax pieces, making it vulnerable to faster combo decks and well-timed removal.
