Honk and Konk bonk like Kronk by TurkeyChief

Format: Commander

Commander: Hidetsugu and Kairi

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir clone/extra-turns deck is built around Hidetsugu and Kairi's potent ETB and death triggers. The primary game plan is to cast the commander, then repeatedly copy it with clone spells (Clone, Rite of Replication, Cackling Counterpart, etc.) to trigger the legend rule, sacrificing the copy to exile the top card of the library and-if it's an instant or sorcery-cast it for free. This chains into extra turns (Time Stretch, Temporal Trespass, Beacon of Tomorrows) and massive card advantage. The death trigger also deals damage equal to the exiled card's mana value, providing a secondary burn win. The deck is built around a single-value engine, relying on the commander's presence to generate incremental value and eventually loop extra turns for a commander-damage or burn kill.
