Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos combat and big-mana strategy led by Ozai, the Phoenix King. Ozai acts as both a rapid clock and a mana battery: boasting 7 power, trample, haste, and firebending 4, he converts unspent mana into red mana that persists across phases. Once six or more mana is banked, Ozai gains flying and indestructible, making him an exceptionally durable threat. The deck ramps during the first four turns, deploys Ozai on Turn 5, and begins storing combat mana. By Turn 6, the surplus mana fuels devastating force multipliers such as Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Embercleave, Aggravated Assault, and Full Throttle, or drains the table using Exsanguinate. While the deck features robust board control with Toxic Deluge and Archfiend of Depravity, it lacks stack interaction and tutors, relying on raw card flow and combat damage to eliminate opponents across successive turns.
