Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by Wyleth, Soul of Steel. The primary game plan is to ramp in the opening turns, deploy Wyleth on Turn 3, and quickly suit it up with low-cost Equipment and Auras. On Turn 4, Wyleth begins attacking to draw multiple cards each turn, solving Boros's traditional card-advantage deficit. By Turn 5, massive power buffs such as Colossus Hammer, Fireshrieker, and All That Glitters turn Wyleth into a lethal threat capable of eliminating opponents in single combat steps. The deck supports this aggressive linear clock with equip-cost cheaters like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Puresteel Paladin, and protects its board with hexproof, indestructible, and phasing effects like Clever Concealment. The deck finishes the table sequentially around Turn 7.
