Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats Reanimator strategy piloted by Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher. The primary win condition executes infinite sacrifice and drain loops using Gravecrawler alongside free sacrifice outlets such as Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar and drain payoffs like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. Premium tutors including Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Intent, Entomb, and Buried Alive ensure rapid assembly, while efficient draw engines like Skullclamp and Black Market Connections provide continuous card velocity. Carmen acts as an overarching value engine, growing into a lethal flying threat while reanimating sacrificed permanents on attack. The deck maintains strong resilience through low-cost reanimation spells (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Sevinne's Reclamation) and free defensive tools like Flare of Fortitude and Flawless Maneuver, presenting a fast, resilient clock that closes games decisively through unblockable life drain.
