Deck overview

This Kaalia of the Vast deck is a combat-focused aggro-cheat strategy engineered to bypass high mana costs by putting massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield attacking. The deck aims to deploy Kaalia by Turn 4 and attack on Turn 5 to cheat game-warping threats such as Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Balefire Dragon, or Aurelia, the Warleader. A suite of disruptive permanents—including Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Rest in Peace, and Ghostly Prison—taxes opponents and shuts down key mechanics while Kaalia compounds damage. An infinite combat combo exists via Helm of the Host and Aurelia, the Warleader. Because the list has minimal ramp and sparse card draw, success relies on protecting Kaalia during her vulnerable deployment window and maximizing the impact of each cheated threat.
