New Untitled Deck by ThesaltyDJ

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Kaalia of the Vast build, aiming to cheat expensive Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play by attacking with the commander. The primary game plan is to ramp into Kaalia, protect her with a few pieces of equipment and instant-speed spells, then trigger her ability to drop threats like Aurelia, the Warleader, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, or Rune-Scarred Demon directly into combat. The deck also includes a secondary commander in the 99, Kaalia, Zenith Seeker, for additional filtering. The win condition is almost entirely combat damage, with extra combat steps from Aurelia, the Warleader and damage multipliers from Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Neriv, Heart of the Storm to close out games. The deck lacks infinite combos or stax locks, relying on overwhelming board presence and a modest recursion package to recover from wipes.
