Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color planeswalker control build helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan utilizes pillowfort combat taxes, flexible board sweepers, and efficient countermagic to control the board while developing mana and planeswalker support. By leveraging the Empower Jace mechanic alongside token producers, the deck accumulates loyalty counters across Jace tokens and planeswalkers. Once 25 or more loyalty counters are amassed across Jaces in play, the deck deploys Jace, Reality Sculptor and activates its 0-loyalty ability to exile all but the bottom card of each opponent's library, leaving opponents to deck out over their next two draw steps. The commander also functions as a Polymorph engine to cheat high-impact permanents like Hullbreaker Horror or Platinum Angel into play. Backed by free interaction and defensive taxes, the deck establishes an inevitable attrition-based victory.
