Rog/Ardenn bracket 4 by geoffybubba

Format: Commander

Commander: Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a hyper-aggressive Boros Equipment-Voltron deck built around the Partner pair of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. The plan is brutal and simple: deploy Rograkh for free, use Ardenn's beginning-of-combat trigger to attach every Equipment in play without paying equip costs, and one-shot opponents with Colossus Hammer, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, and Hard-Won Jitte. The deck has a 2.34 average mana value without lands, a dense tutor package, and an unusually strong stack/protection suite for a combat deck. It wins either through commander damage from Rograkh, through Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreading lethal damage to the whole table, or through the extra-combat engines provided by Aggravated Assault, Raiyuu, Storm's Edge, and Hellkite Charger.
