Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger combo-control list commanded by Vivi Ornitier, designed to leverage cheap noncreature spells into rapid board pressure, explosive mana, and deterministic combo victories. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Vivi on Turn 2 or 3 and assembling the Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal engine by Turn 4. With mana rocks producing two or more mana, every activation untaps all nonland permanents while Vivi's triggered ability deals lethal damage to the entire table in a single turn. The deck is reinforced by an array of redundant win lines, including Underworld Breach storm lines with Brain Freeze into Thassa's Oracle, and a unique infinite mana synergy using Quicksilver Elemental. A low mana curve backed by dense cantrips, fast mana, and premier free protection spells like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will ensures the deck can consistently protect its win attempts while contesting opposing fast combo lines.
