Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed mono-black combo deck built around Gwenom, Remorseless. It leverages dense fast mana, rituals, and unconditional tutors to assemble an early win attempt on Turn 2 or 3. When Gwenom attacks, her ability allows you to play cards directly from the top of your library by paying life rather than mana. Pairing this with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir lets you draw your entire deck, generate massive life, and eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. In addition to the commander line, the deck features format-defining cEDH backup engines, including Bolas's Citadel, Ad Nauseam, Peer into the Abyss, and Hoarding Broodlord lines enabled by Saw in Half. Disruptive creatures like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters punish opposing game plans while you storm off.
