Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius lifegain strategy built around Will, Scion of Peace. It uses early incidental lifegain from cards like Nyx-Fleece Ram, Soul's Attendant, and lifegain lands to fuel Will's tap ability. Will converts the life gained in a single turn into massive generic mana discounts for white and blue spells. This cost reduction lets you cast game-ending spells like Storm Herd, Finale of Glory, Beacon of Immortality, and large Pull from Tomorrow draws for just two or three colored mana. While the deck can generate enormous flying armies and high life totals very quickly, it has few tutors and light interaction. It relies on outpacing opponents with sheer board presence and overwhelming combat steps rather than locking down the table or executing infinite combos.
