Deck overview

This deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a combined card-filtering engine and polymorph outlet. By generating cheap token fodder through cards like Skrelv's Hive and Kher Keep, the deck uses Jace's −3 ability to cheat massive threats such as Blightsteel Colossus, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Archon of Cruelty directly from the library onto the battlefield on Turn 5. In parallel, a dense package of Jace planeswalkers provides steady card draw, board bounce, and proliferation support via Ichormoon Gauntlet and Oath of Teferi. The deck defends its planeswalkers using combat deterrents like Blazing Archon and the commander's passive tax. While the polymorph hits are non-deterministic, the high concentration of devastating creatures and planeswalkers ensures that resolving the commander quickly shifts the game into an advantageous, multi-turn combat clock.
