Deck overview

This mono-blue deck revolves around Jacob Hauken, Inspector // Hauken's Insight to filter through the library, stash game-ending high-mana spells into exile, and transform into Hauken's Insight to cheat them onto the stack for free. Once operational on Turn 5, the deck bypasses mana constraints to resolve overwhelming cards like Aminatou's Augury, Swarm Intelligence, and Curse of Unbinding. These explosive turns feed secondary engines such as Talrand, Sky Summoner, Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, and Minn, Wily Illusionist, creating massive flying token swarms, or Psychosis Crawler to drain opponents through card draw. Defensive barriers like Propaganda and a counterspell suite provide coverage during setup. While vulnerable to early spot removal on its commander and lacking instant-speed combo finishes, the deck achieves high compounding advantage once its enchantment engine takes over the game.
