Deck overview

This Boros list is a midrange ETB-damage and token-swarm deck helmed by Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant // Phoenix, Warden of Fire. The primary plan floods the board with creatures and tokens, then converts every enter trigger into table-wide burn via Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Warleader's Call, Terror of the Peaks, and Warstorm Surge, amplified by City on Fire, Fiery Emancipation, and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell. Joshua loots on entry, then transforms into a Saga that pings the table and mass-reanimates a package of creatures before flipping back-an engine and rebuild tool rather than a hard win condition. Secondary paths include a life-total kill with Felidar Sovereign/Aetherflux Reservoir, a classic blink loop with Felidar Guardian and Restoration Angel, and fair combat backed by True Conviction and go-wide anthems. The deck wins through redundant damage engines and recursive phoenix/token value rather than a single brittle combo turn.
