Format: Commander

Commander: Michelangelo, the Heart and Leonardo, the Balance

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color token-and-counter deck is helmed by the partner pair Michelangelo, the Heart and Leonardo, the Balance (Leonardo's {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} activated ability opens the full color identity). The plan is to flood the battlefield with tokens - Food, Mutagen, Saprolings, Gnomes, Goblins, and Squirrels - then multiply them through Doubling Season, Chatterfang, Squirrel General, Peregrin Took, Academy Manufactor, and Donatello, the Brains, while stacking +1/+1 counters via Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, and Kami of Whispered Hopes. Leonardo turns every token into a team-wide counter, and Michelangelo generates Food and counters off attacks. The deck wins through combat: Triumph of the Hordes infect, Raphael, the Muscle damage doubling, Shared Animosity pumps, and evasion from Herald of Secret Streams and Champion of Lambholt, with Mirkwood Bats as a drain backup. It is a midrange snowball that turns a wide board into an unstoppable alpha strike.
