bard v3 by alexs2333

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is a token and draw engine in the command zone. The deck's primary plan is to cast Bard behind a cheap draw/token engine, then let his two replacement effects double both card draw and token production, snowballing into a wide board. Shorikai, Prince Imrahil, Staff of the Storyteller, and similar pieces generate Pilots, Soldiers, Drakes, and Spirits. Finish lines come from Moonshaker Cavalry, Elspeth's 0 ability, or The Arkenstone after a Bard-doubled swarm. Myrel and Bard, Heir of Girion supply extra soldiers on attack. No true hidden commander exists; King T'Challa and Shorikai act as the principal lieutenants.
