Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal and Treasure synergy deck led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The strategy focuses on establishing early Dwarf creatures, deploying Thorin to convert every subsequent Dwarf into Treasure tokens, and leveraging Thorin's anthem ability, which grants other Dwarves +1/+0 for each artifact token you control. As your Treasure hoard expands through combat equipment like The Reaver Cleaver and engines like Magda, Brazen Outlaw, your modest Dwarves scale into lethal attackers capable of eliminating players in single combat phases. Backup burn effects such as Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, and Balin, Loremaster convert creature entries and card cycling into direct damage against all opponents. While the deck possesses strong board-scaling speed and reliable commander recovery, it depends heavily on maintaining its creature army and artifact tokens, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers if defensive phasing spells like Clever Concealment are not readily available.
