Deck overview

This Ghoulcaller Gisa deck is a dedicated mono-black Zombie Tribal Aristocrats strategy focused on turning creature power into overwhelming swarms of undead tokens. The game plan centers on deploying efficient Zombie lords, recursive threats like Gravecrawler, and synergistic sacrifice outlets before casting Gisa on Turn 4 or 5. Once active, Gisa sacrifices high-power creatures to create massive waves of 2/2 Zombie tokens, effectively doubling board presence each turn cycle. The deck translates this wide board state into victory through two primary avenues: aggressive combat damage enhanced by lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, or non-combat drain engines powered by Blood Artist, Plague Belcher, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While the deck boasts immense board resilience, recursive graveyard loops, and card advantage through engines like Undead Augur and Cryptbreaker, it lacks unconditional tutors, artifact interaction, and counterspell protection, making it vulnerable to well-timed spot removal on Gisa and mass exile sweepers like Farewell.
