Deck overview

This deck is a thematic mono-blue planeswalker control deck centered around Jace Beleren in his many forms. The game plan starts by deploying Jace, Vryn's Prodigy on turn 2 to filter draws and fill the graveyard, transforming into Jace, Telepath Unbound by turn 4. From there, the deck establishes a wide planeswalker presence using The Theorist, Jace Beleren, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, and various support enchantments. It defends its planeswalkers through attack-taxing effects like Propaganda and combat power reduction. The deck wins by milling out all opponents using cards like Maddening Cacophony, Jace, Memory Adept, and Sphinx's Tutelage, or by winning directly through self-mill with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and Laboratory Maniac.
