Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul combat-control deck commanded by Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Raised by Giants. The strategy accelerates mana through low-cost Elf druids and green ramp spells to cast both commanders directly from the command zone. Once Raised by Giants resolves, Baeloth becomes a 10/10 Giant, passively goading every opposing creature with power 9 or less. This lock forces opponents to attack one another while shielding you from combat damage entirely. As opposing creatures perish in combat, Baeloth generates a massive stream of Treasure tokens that fuel further spells and commander recasts. Supported by efficient instant-speed protection like Overprotect and Blossoming Defense, Baeloth maintains the goad lock across two turn cycles while opponents whittle down each other's life totals. You then close the game on Turn 7 by delivering lethal commander damage with trample, double strike from Temur Battle Rage, or unblockability from Rogue's Passage.
