This Simic landfall deck is helmed by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, who functions as both a mana engine (extra land per turn) and a card-draw engine (landfall draw). The primary plan is to ramp aggressively, trigger landfall repeatedly for value from tokens (Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, Zendikar's Roil), and then finish with a massive Craterhoof Behemoth or the annihilator threat of Ulamog, the Defiler.
