Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan converts oversized, cheap creatures like Kalakscion, Hunger Tyrant and Yargle, Glutton of Urborg into swarms of 2/2 black Zombie tokens through Gisa's sacrifice ability. Once a critical mass of Zombies fills the board, the deck overwhelms opponents using powerful tribal lords such as Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Coat of Arms, or drains the table through aristocrat payoffs like Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The deck features solid card advantage engines and asymmetric creature attrition via Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet. However, because Gisa lacks haste and the deck runs limited single-target protection, the setup remains vulnerable to well-timed spot removal and sweepers.
