Almost Unblockable by jblumka

Format: Commander

Commander: Sonorous Howlbonder

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Pauper-style Rakdos menance-and-deathtouch combat deck. Sonorous Howlbonder is a cheap command-zone force multiplier: it does not grant menace itself, but it upgrades every creature that already has menace into a creature that can only be blocked by three or more creatures. The deck backs that with deathtouch bodies like Yuan-Ti Fang-Blade, Thorn of the Black Rose, and Gorgon Recluse, so blocking is miserable and not blocking means taking damage. Combat-damage payoffs like Audacious Thief, Goldvein Pick, and Beamtown Beatstick fuel a slow but steady card and Treasure engine, while Tiamat's Fanatics and Genasi Enforcers spread damage across all opponents. There are no infinite combos; the primary win condition is incremental, evasive combat damage.
