Deck overview

This deck is built around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds, using her combat damage trigger to grant additional upkeep steps after the combat phase. By combining Obeka's natural menace with evasion equipment like Brotherhood Regalia and Vorrac Battlehorns, the deck consistently connects for combat damage to multiply the effectiveness of upkeep-triggered permanents. Payoffs like the Court cycle, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and Protection Racket quickly bury opponents in card advantage, hand destruction, or direct damage. A dense package of two-mana ramp artifacts ensures Obeka hits the battlefield on Turn 3, while free interaction spells like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick protect the commander during her vulnerable attack steps. While the deck generates overwhelming board states once established, it remains heavily reliant on Obeka's presence and successful combat connections to close games.
