Deck overview

This Gruul deck is led by Kibo, Uktabi Prince, utilizing a dynamic strategy centered on symmetrical artifact distribution and forced destruction. By tapping Kibo to give every player Banana tokens, the deck accelerates its own mana while creating prime targets for its dense suite of artifact removal. Whenever an opponent sacrifices or loses an artifact, Kibo grows every Ape and Monkey on your board with +1/+1 counters. The deck complements this growth with artifact punishers like Sardian Avenger and Magnetic Mine, alongside stax pieces like Karn, the Great Creator and Manglehorn that prevent opponents from freely leveraging their gifted tokens. Once your Ape board reaches formidable power, mass pump spells such as Overwhelming Stampede and trample enablers close out the game through dominant combat damage.
