Deck overview

This is a Gruul Voltron deck helmed by Stangg, Echo Warrior, built to abuse his attack trigger that creates a legendary token copy of himself and copies every Aura and Equipment attached to him. The primary game plan is to stack Stangg with multiple Auras and Equipment, then attack to double all combat-damage triggers and value effects. The deck also includes a disruptive stax subtheme using Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, and Zhao, the Moon Slayer to lock out nonbasic lands. Winning is achieved through incremental combat damage, commander damage from the original Stangg, or the life-halving effect of Quietus Spike. The deck relies heavily on Stangg being on the battlefield to generate its explosive turns, and has very limited recursion or backup plans.
