Deck overview

This Azorius midrange deck harnesses the partner synergy between Alisaie Leveilleur and Alphinaud Leveilleur to generate steady tempo and card advantage. Casting Alisaie immediately tutors Alphinaud to hand, providing seamless access to the core engine. Once both commanders are on the battlefield, the deck discounts the second spell cast each turn by {2} mana while drawing an extra card. This engine fuels low-cost cantrips, pillowfort defense, and token generators such as Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, Champions from Beyond, and Jacked Rabbit. Defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda protect your life total while you accumulate an evasive flying army or prepare a game-ending kicked Rite of Replication. Robust instant-speed protection like Clever Concealment and Ultimate Magic: Holy safeguards your board against opposing sweepers until you can close the game through overwhelming combat damage.
