Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mono-Green Bear Stompy deck commanded by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan centers on deploying efficient mana dorks and low-curve Bear or changeling bodies during the opening turns, followed by casting Beorn on Turn 4. Beorn converts non-Bear creatures into Bears, distributes trample counters, and provides a continuous stream of card advantage by drawing two cards at each combat step. With abundant card flow and explosive mana producers like Gaea's Cradle, Fanatic of Rhonas, and Castle Garenbrig, the deck rapidly transitions on Turn 5 into decisive finishers such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Surrak and Goreclaw, or Finale of Devastation. Defensively, the list runs an extensive package of cheap instant-speed protection and anti-counterspell measures to safeguard its board state against targeted removal and standard sweepers.
