Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and forced-combat shell led by Red Death, Shipwrecker. The commander acts as early ramp and political control by tapping to goad opposing threats while generating red mana. The deck leverages efficient card selection, cost reducers, and magecraft engines like Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist to cycle through the library rapidly. While it can whittle down opponents using mass goad effects such as Disrupt Decorum and token creators like Talrand, Sky Summoner, its definitive win condition is the two-card infinite combo of Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage. Assembling this pair generates infinite hasty 2/2 creature tokens that attack the entire table for lethal damage on Turn 5. Interaction consists of flexible low-cost counterspells, targeted removal, and board resets like Blasphemous Act.
