The Serpent Society 6,25 Budget 100 by Raysen

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society is a Golgari poison-control build that turns deathtouch combat damage into poison counters. Fynn, the Fangbearer is the hidden commander: every deathtouch hit becomes two poison, and The Serpent Society's ward plus death trigger forces opponents to sacrifice nontoken creatures. Venerated Rotpriest and the Toxic/Infect package provide a secondary poison route, while proliferate spells and Innkeeper's Talent quickly close the game. The deck also uses Unstoppable Slasher and Aphelia, Viper Whisperer to halve life totals. It attacks on a low mana curve, with flexible creature tutors and recursion, and wins through combat damage rather than a dedicated combo.
