Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy built to exploit the cost-reduction ability of Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana dorks and under-costed high-power creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. By Turn 4, the combined power on board reduces Ghalta's cost to just two green mana. Once deployed, Ghalta triggers robust draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise to replenish the hand. The deck transitions into combat lethality on Turns 5 and 6, using trample and massive pump spells such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to eliminate opponents in rapid succession. While resilient against single-target disruption thanks to redundant beaters, the list remains exposed to sweepers and fast spell-based combo strategies due to its reliance on combat damage and minimal stack interaction.
