Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on Phyrexian typal synergies, token generation, and moderate stax elements led by Elesh Norn // The Argent Etchings. The primary game plan develops early token generators like Skrelv's Hive and Hop to It to deploy fodder. On Turn 4, the deck casts Elesh Norn and transforms her on Turn 5 into The Argent Etchings. Chapter I instantly creates five 2/2 Phyrexian artifact creatures. Chapter II buffs the entire team with +1/+1 and double strike to knock out a key opponent, while Chapter III provides an asymmetric board wipe that destroys non-Phyrexian, non-artifact permanents. Supporting stax pieces like Phyrexian Censor and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines slow down opposing combos and enter-the-battlefield abilities, while versatile removal keeps critical threats in check. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage and one-sided attrition.
