Deck overview

This Gruul Landfall Stompy deck is commanded by Toph, Hardheaded Teacher, turning every cast spell into animated, resilient land creatures via earthbend. The strategy accelerates mana in the early turns using efficient ramp like Nature's Lore and Three Visits. Once Toph enters the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, casting spells immediately animates lands into hasty 1/1 creatures with +1/+1 counters. These lands are inherently self-replacing, returning to the battlefield tapped whenever they die or face exile. On Turn 5, the deck deploys game-ending amplifiers like Moraug, Fury of Akoum, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, or Bristly Bill, Spine Sower to double counters, grant double strike, or generate extra combat steps. High card draw engines such as Terrasymbiosis and Greater Good keep the hand full of fresh gas. The deck closes out games through overwhelming trample and combat damage by Turn 6.
