Deck overview

This mono-white midrange deck centers on Heliod, Sun-Crowned, using cheap lifegain triggers to grow an army of creatures with +1/+1 counters. Early turns focus on deploying Soul Sisters such as Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant before casting Heliod on Turn 3. As creatures enter and attack, lifegain triggers Heliod to build a massive, resilient board. Secondary threats like Archangel of Thune, Resplendent Angel, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar expand the board while defensive taxes from Blind Obedience and Authority of the Consuls slow down opponent combat steps. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents through large combat attacks boosted by Akroma's Will, or through alternate win conditions like Aetherflux Reservoir and Approach of the Second Sun. Highly efficient single-target removal keeps opposing threats in check, making this a durable and straightforward lifegain engine.
