Deck overview

This deck leverages Eriette of the Charmed Apple to establish an asymmetric pillowfort and attrition engine. By attaching Auras to both friendly creatures and opposing threats, Eriette prevents enchanted opposing creatures from attacking you while steadily siphoning life from the entire table during each of your end steps. Card draw is fueled by classic enchantress engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer, while cost reducers like Danitha Capashen, Paragon accelerate Aura deployment. The deck controls the tempo of combat through goad effects, Ghostly Prison, and targeted exile Auras like Sheltered by Ghosts. As the Aura count scales, damage amplifiers such as Enduring Tenacity and wide token generation from Archon of Sun's Grace shorten the clock. While highly resilient against conventional combat damage, the strategy relies on maintaining a high density of nonland permanents and remains vulnerable to broad enchantment wipes and non-combat combo strategies.
