Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo-control strategy led by Orvar, the All-Form. Orvar triggers whenever you cast an instant or sorcery targeting a permanent you control, creating a token copy of that permanent. The deck leverages cheap targeting spells and buyback cards like Whim of Volrath and Mind Games to clone high-value permanents, ramping mana and assembling infinite resource loops. By targeting untap creatures like Peregrine Drake or mana rocks like Gilded Lotus, the deck produces infinite mana and unbounded token copies on Turn 4. With infinite mana established, you can clone draw engines such as Spellseeker or Archmage Emeritus to draw your entire library. The primary win condition loops Blue Sun's Zenith to force every opponent to draw their entire library in a single turn. Supporting interaction, countermagic, and unique protection lands like Swarmyard keep Orvar safe while you sculpt your winning hand.
