Deck overview

This mono-red deck turns opponents' offensive power into a lethal weapon using Dong Zhou, the Tyrant and a dense suite of creature duplication effects. The strategy focuses on ramping into repeatable clone engines such as Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Rionya, Fire Dancer, Fable of the Mirror-Breaker, and Blade of Selves. Once assembled, casting Dong Zhou triggers massive chunks of direct damage based on opposing power totals. By creating multiple temporary token copies of Dong Zhou or secondary payoffs like Fanatic of Mogis and Purphoros, God of the Forge, the deck burns through 120 total life across the table. Defensive permanents like Ensnaring Bridge, Crawlspace, and Silent Arbiter hold back wide opposing boards while the burn package develops. The deck also includes a compact infinite combo in Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to close games immediately if needed.
