venser mk1 by SquirrelJuice19

Format: Commander

Commander: Venser, Corpse Puppet

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck uses Venser, Corpse Puppet to pilot a Dimir toxic and proliferate strategy that eliminates opponents through poison counters or direct life drain. The primary plan infects all opponents early using cards like Ichor Rats, Prologue to Phyresis, or unblockable attackers such as Blighted Agent, then rapidly accumulates ten poison counters by chaining proliferate spells and triggers. Venser provides continuous board presence by creating 3/3 Hollow Sentinel artifact tokens whenever you proliferate. The secondary plan forms an infinite proliferate engine using Venser, Throne of Geth, and Dross Scorpion to end the game immediately, backed by life drain from Scheming Aspirant or Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
