Dogs & Cats - Tokens by user6304412

Format: Commander

Commander: Rin and Seri, Inseparable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Naya Cat/Dog tribal deck helmed by Rin and Seri, Inseparable. The primary game plan is to flood the battlefield with Cat and Dog tokens - the commander creates a Cat whenever you cast a Dog and a Dog whenever you cast a Cat - then pump the team with a dense suite of tribal lords and anthems (Feline Sovereign, King of the Pride, Regal Caracal, Pack Leader, Kaheera, the Orphanguard, Glorious Anthem, Paladin Class, Inspiring Leader) to win through combat. The commander's activated ability provides a reach finisher, dealing damage equal to your Dog count and gaining life equal to your Cat count. A secondary infinite combo exists with Aluren + Whitemane Lion, using either Impact Tremors or the commander itself as the outlet. The deck also runs a defensive soft-lock with Solemnity + Nine Lives and a token-doubling blowout in Second Harvest.
