Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Boros aggressive midrange strategy led by Sephiroth, Fallen Hero. It leverages the 'modified' mechanic by combining +1/+1 counters, token generators, and high-impact Equipment to build an expansive, resilient army. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with two-mana rocks and establishing modified fodder using engines like Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon and Luminarch Aspirant. Once Sephiroth, Fallen Hero enters and attacks, his Jenova Cells ability raises every modified creature's base power and toughness to 7/5, multiplying the board's offensive output. Extra combat steps from Akki Battle Squad and Aurelia, the Warleader accelerate the clock, while defensive spells like Boros Charm and Sephiroth's built-in recursion ensure persistent pressure across the table.
