Gandalf by Veronis

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-red Gandalf deck is a spell-slinging burn and token deck. The front face of the commander makes every noncreature spell deal 1 damage to each opponent and grows Gandalf; the Flameshape adventure exiles two cards to be played once a Wizard is on board. The deck plans to chain rituals, wheels, flashback spells, and cascade spells, converting each cast into Gandalf triggers, Manaform Hellkite tokens, and Storm-Kiln Artist treasures. Rionya, Fire Dancer is effectively a hidden commander: combined with Harmonic Prodigy she multiplies Gandalf's drain for a one-turn kill. Extra combat spells and graveyard recursion form the backup route.
