Sephiroth by Timtation

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck uses Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as a drain and card-advantage engine that rewards every creature death. The front face draws cards when you sacrifice and drains opponents for each death, transforming after four triggers into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel which provides a permanent drain emblem and mass sacrifice draw. The primary plan loops recursive creatures like Gravecrawler and Reassembling Skeleton through free sac outlets to trigger Blood Artist effects doubled by Drivnod and The Masamune. Secondary paths include Gray Merchant devotion bursts, Bolas's Citadel grind, and Tergrid theft via edicts. Ayara, First of Locthwain acts as a hidden commander, providing redundant drain and draw when Sephiroth is unavailable.
