Format: Commander

Commander: Satoru Umezawa

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Satoru Umezawa turns every creature in hand into a ninjutsu threat: the deck parks an unblockable one-drop, then swaps it for huge cards like Blightsteel Colossus, Jin-Gitaxias, or Ancient Silver Dragon. Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow is the hidden second engine; once attacking Ninjas connect, Yuriko reveals high-mana-value cards and drains the entire table. The deck's secondary path is a grindier draw-and-counter game, using Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Satoru's trigger, and Yuriko to refuel. Satoru's role is both mana cheat and card advantage; if he is kept off the battlefield, the deck is still a normal Ninja/draw deck, but loses its fastest kills.
