Deck overview

This is a tightly tuned Orzhov reanimator-aristocrats midrange deck helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The primary plan layers efficient graveyard tutors and reanimation auras with sacrifice outlets and death-trigger drains to assemble compact infinite loops, while a dense hatebear and stax suite (Archon of Emeria, Drannith Magistrate, Grand Abolisher, Deafening Silence) keeps the table off-balance. Squall, SeeD Mercenary provides a resilient recursion engine-attacking alone for double strike and returning any permanent with mana value 3 or less from the graveyard-but the deck's win lines live entirely in the 99. Secondary paths include grinding value through Braids, Arisen Nightmare and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, combat pressure under double strike, and attrition via edicts. Fast mana and a low curve (AMV ~2.03) let the deck threaten early combo turns while still functioning as a disruptive control shell.
