K’rriket by Trunk_Monkey21

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck is built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, turning life into a second mana pool. The primary game plan is to accelerate into a massive life-drain finish-either through an enormous Exsanguinate or via infinite death-trigger loops that drain the table. The deck packs an exceptional tutor suite (Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor, Beseech the Mirror, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, and more) to consistently find its key pieces. Rituals like Dark Ritual and Culling the Weak combine with K'rrik's life-payment ability to produce explosive early turns. Secondary win conditions include combat damage from Syr Konrad, the Grim or Rankle, Master of Pranks and the magecraft triggers of Professor Onyx. The deck is a high-speed, high-consistency combo-drain machine that can win out of nowhere once it assembles its engine.
