Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant midrange strategy centered around Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. It uses a broad cast of Final Fantasy X characters and classic +1/+1 counter staples to create a resilient, compounding board state. Early turns establish mana acceleration and place initial counters through enablers like Hardened Scales, Shelinda, Yevon Acolyte, and Duskshell Crawler. Once Tidus enters the battlefield, combat connections trigger the Cheer ability to draw cards and proliferate counters across the entire team. The deck translates this growing power into victory through overwhelming combat steps enabled by trample, double strike, and unblockable effects from cards such as Sphere Grid, Chocobo Knights, and Rikku, Resourceful Guardian. Robust protection spells like Inspiring Call and Resourceful Defense ensure the engine survives opposing interaction while building toward decisive combat finishes.
